The easiest way to clip your four-legged friend’s claws is to have him lie on his side. Make sure you have good lighting conditions so that you can easily see the blood vessels in the claw. If your dog has dark claws, you can try shining a torch through individual claws.
Take your dog’s paw in your hand and fix the claw you want to clip at the base of the claw. Hold the nail scissors at a 45° angle to the claw and clip it from the bottom to the top. Please shorten the claw carefully and “slice by slice” to prevent clipping off too much.
After shortening the paw hairs, the paw pads can be especially well lubricated with our nourishing Paw Care. This strengthens the paw skin and keeps it supple.
