LILADENT DENTAL-CARE MINERAL shines with distinguished ingredients. Silicic acid and white clay act as mineral cleaning agents. They remove plaque thoroughly but are soft on enamel and gums. In addition, silicic acid supports the resilience of the mucous membrane. LILADENT’s exceptional formula also relies on the power of papain, turmeric, and coconut oil. Papain, an enzyme from the papaya fruit, has the power to split proteins. It helps to gently loosen plaque and removes discolouration. Turmeric, also known as curcuma, is used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat inflammation. It strengthens teeth and gums and is said to relieve swelling and gum irritation. Combined with coconut oil, turmeric is considered a beauty secret for whitening teeth. In addition to its skin-care properties, coconut oil is also known for its bacteriostatic effect. It reduces the growth of bacteria in the oral cavity and thus optimizes the oral flora. Another plus is the nutty-sweet taste of coconut oil: Dogs lick LILADENT with relish. Finally, a product that turns dental care into a tasty wellness ritual.

Ingredients

Aqua

Water

Propanediol

Propanediol is a plant-based moisturiser with antibacterial properties. It is derived from corn sugar.

Glycerin

Vegetable glycerin is produced during the saponification of vegetable oils. As a natural and compatible humectant, glycerin keeps LILADENT toothpaste from drying out.

Sorbitol

Sorbitol is a sugar alcohol from corn starch. It is a natural humectant and provides a smooth consistency.

Hydrated Silica

Silicic acid is a trace element. It protects and strengthens the teeth, and it supports the body’s own defense of the oral mucosa. As a gentle cleaning agent, silicic acid cleans teeth effectively without damaging the enamel.

Kaolin

Kaolin clay is known for its gentle cleansing action. It is hypoallergenic, adheres well to the skin, and makes for an excellent surfactant substitute. It absorbs dirt particles and excess grease like a blotting paper, so that they can be rinsed off easily.

Carica Papaya Fruit Extract*

Papaya extract contains the enzyme papain. High concentration of papain are found in the green skin and seeds of unripe fruits. Because of its protein-splitting effect, the enzyme is considered an excellent stain remover. Papain helps gently to loosen plaque and remove discolouration.

Curcuma Longa Powder*

Turmeric (turmeric) is recommended by Indian researchers for its strengthening effect for dental care. It is said to make gums more resistant and soothe them.

Cocos Nucifera Oil*

Coconut oil has a melting point of approx. 25°C. At cooler temperatures it is solid, but melts on contact with the skin. Coconut oil penetrates the skin very quickly and has an immediate smoothing and moisturising effect without leaving a greasy film. In addition, it absorbs body heat when melting and thus has a slightly cooling effect - very pleasant for irritated skin. Melting and quick absorption make coconut oil feel very soft and flattering. Furthermore, coconut oil has a slightly deodorising effect due to certain fatty acids that are toxic to some bacteria. Together with turmeric, coconut oil is considered an insider tip for natural teeth whitening.

Xanthan Gum

Xanthan gum is a natural thickener and obtained by fermenting substances containing sugar. Xanthan gum has a moisture-binding effect and is also suitable for sensitive skin.

Sodium Citrate

The sodium salt of citric acid regulates the pH value. In contrast to the skin of humans, the pH value of canine skin is in the rather neutral range (7.5). Shampoos designed for humans are therefore completely unsuitable for dogs.

Citric Acid

Citric acid regulates the pH value of the products. In contrast to humans, dogs have a pH value in the rather neutral range, which is why care products designed for humans are completely unsuitable for dogs.
