Unser FIRST AID BALSAM, die sprühbare Wundsalbe für Hunde auf weiß lackiertem Holzuntergrund

FIRST AID OINTMENT helps irritated skin to regenerate and renew its cells. The innovative formula combines the findings of traditional botany with the latest science.
The gel of the aloe vera plant is an outstanding moisturiser. It cools, soothes itching, and is also said to promote the production of new skin cells.

Hemp oil and evening primrose oil strengthen the damaged skin barrier. Both nourish flaky, dry skin prone to inflammation. In human skin care, they are renowned for alleviating atopic eczema. Marula oil creates a light, non-greasy film and thus helps the skin to retain moisture.

A special feature is the addition of hyaluronic acid and frankincense extract. Hyaluron binds moisture and improves the elasticity of the skin. Indian frankincense has anti-inflammatory, regenerating properties. In aromatherapy, it is also valued for its calming, mood-lifting effect.

FIRST AID OINTMENT has been specially developed for the care of irritated skin and is recommended by veterinarians. Used daily on sensitive skin areas, the ointment optimizes the skin condition with lasting results.

Ingredients

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*

Aloe vera is highly valued for its moisturising and regenerating properties. Perfect for dry, stressed, and sun-damaged skin.

Propanediol

Propanediol is a plant-based moisturiser with antibacterial properties. It is derived from corn sugar.

Oenothera Biennis Oil*

Evening primrose oil is rich in linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid. It has a long tradition in the treatment of barrier-disrupted skin and is, for instance, recommended for people suffering from neurodermatitis and psoriasis. Evening primrose oil relieves itching, moisturizes deeply, soothes, and strengthens the protective skin barrier.

Sclerocarya Bierrea (Marula) Seed Oil

Marula oil is obtained from the fruits of the marula tree growing in southern Africa. It is rich in oleic acid, palmitic, and stearic acid. Due to this composition, the oil is very well absorbed into the skin, at the same time it strengthens the skin’s own lipid film. It helps the skin retain moisture and acts as a light protective shield. Marula oil has a very high content of vitamin C and vitamin E. It is very precious oil for the care of barrier-damaged skin.

Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil*

Hemp oil is rich in alpha-linolenic acid as well as gamma-linolenic acid. They provide the oil with anti-inflammatory, regenerating, and cell renewing properties. Hemp oil is an excellent moisturizer, also suitable for the care of allergic skin.

Cera Alba

Beeswax adds consistency and forms a delicate, velvety film on the skin that protects it from drying out. In addition to this mechanical protective effect, beeswax contains several hundred substances that have a nourishing and protective effect.

Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil*

Thanks to its high lecithin content, soya oil has an excellent moisturising effect on the skin, as this oil emulsifies water and binds it in the stratum corneum.

Aqua

Water

Mel

Honey has a cleansing effect, protects irritated skin and supports the body's own regenerative powers.

Lauryl Glucoside

The gentle cleanser is derived from vegetable oil and glucose. It is mild and easily biodegradable.

Xanthan Gum

Xanthan gum is a natural thickener and obtained by fermenting substances containing sugar. Xanthan gum has a moisture-binding effect and is also suitable for sensitive skin.

Sodium Hyaluronate

Hyaluron is a natural component of skin cells. In care products, it acts as a "turbo" supporting the development of new skin structures. The polysaccharide has the extraordinary ability to bind 7000 times its own weight in water. Hyaluron can thus hydrate even severely dehydrated skin in preparation of a treatment with nourishing lipids.

Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate

Emulsifier of natural origin, combines water and fat phase. Approved for use in certified organic cosmetics.

Glycerin

Vegetable glycerin is produced during the saponification of vegetable oils. Glycerin helps the skin to retain moisture.

Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate

The extract from liquorice root has soothing and sebum-regulating properties.

Boswellia Serrata Resin Extract

Extract from the resin of Indian frankincense. For thousands of years, frankincense has been used by many cultures in rituals and to heal wounds. Scientific studies prove that boswellic acids found in Indian frankincense inhibit inflammation. Frankincense is also said to slow cellular aging, and the scent is considered to be anxiety-relieving and mood-lifting.

Calendula Officinalis Oil*

Calendula oil is an oily extract (macerate): Calendula seeds are marinated in vegetable oil for several weeks to harvest its lipophilic substances. Calendula is traditionally used to care for irritated skin because its active ingredients soothe, stimulate the generation of new tissue, and carotenoids strengthen the skin against external influences.

Sodium Citrate

The sodium salt of citric acid regulates the pH value. In contrast to the skin of humans, the pH value of canine skin is in the rather neutral range (7.5). Shampoos designed for humans are therefore completely unsuitable for dogs.

Tocopherol

Vitamin E prevents the oxidation of membrane lipids. It is an antioxidant protecting cells. Vitamin E also binds moisture and promotes cell renewal.

Zinc Chloride

Zinc oxide and zinc sulfate have antimicrobial and astringent effects. Zinc is said to help dry out inflammation and is therefore traditionally used in wound protection creams. Zinc also plays a vital role in cell regeneration, and in the formation of enzymes of the immune system.

Lecithin

Lecithin is a component of the cell membrane of animals and plants. Our lecithin is of 100% plant origin. It acts as an emulsifier, moisturises the skin and supports the skin’s lipid layer.

Sodium Hydroxide

Sodium Hydroxide is a pH value regulator of mineral origin.

Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil

Sunflower oil contains a high amount of unsaturated fatty acids, especially linoleic and oleic acid. It is extremely mild and an excellent carrier oil for active ingredients.

Ascorbyl Palmitat

Vitamin C palmitate is a vitamin C compound. It supports the renewal of damaged connective tissue and stabilises the skin's protective layer. Also helpful with inflammations.

Lavandula Angustifolia Oil

Lavender oil, the essential oil from lavender flowers, is rich in linalool. Together with more than 2000 other components, it promotes a fast recovery of stressed and irritated skin. In aromatherapy, the typical scent is valued for its calming and harmonising effect.

Citric Acid

Citric acid regulates the pH value of the products. In contrast to humans, dogs have a pH value in the rather neutral range, which is why care products designed for humans are completely unsuitable for dogs.

Our Recommendation

In case of acute skin damage, the prior application of nano-free SILVER SPRAY increases the regenerating effect.

SKILLS BY LILA – Medical Training

From the very beginning, dogs are diligently taught a well-behaved sit, a focused leash walk and a fun paw give. But many dogs can neither be brushed and showered in a relaxed manner, nor have ticks removed, let alone go to the vet or groomer without clamouring. Yet regular grooming and vet visits are part of the basics of a good dog’s life. Fortunately, we dog-loving people are slowly realising that “medical training” is essential for a relaxed relationship. In everyday life and for the (hopefully never occurring) emergency.

General questions on the product

When do I use the silver cream, when the SILVER SPRAY and when the FIRST AID BALM?

Silver spray is used for immediate disinfection of scratches, small cuts or abrasions, is painless and "rinses" or cleanses. In case of acute need, the silver spray should therefore always be the first and quick choice.

The silver cream disinfects with microsilver and forms a protective layer on the skin. The silver cream is ideal for use after the silver spray. It brings the skin flora back into balance and supports skin recovery. The contained MICROSILVER (not nano silver!) ensures that the dog's skin can regenerate particularly well under a protective film as silver. This effect - the QUICK RECOVERY EFFICIENCY EFFECT (QRE) - is optimised by the silver, so the skin is protected and regeneration is accelerated at the same time.

The First Aid Balm soothes dry & irritated skin and intensively moisturises it with hyaluron. It is used to care for very dry, flaky or itchy skin and acts like a highly nourishing and moisturising serum. It can be used for long-term care of stressed or irritated skin.
