ORGANIC DUCK WITH PUMPKIN, wholemeal rice, Jerusalem artichokes and a pinch of coconut flakes, this menu is truly something special. The ingredients sound unusual, but this recipe – as with all our feeds – is also based on nutritional science. Pumpkin not only tastes good, but is also an excellent source of iron and potassium. Easily digestible wholemeal rice has a positive effect on intestinal activity with its fibre. A special highlight is the addition of Jerusalem artichoke: the tuber is rich in inulin, a polysaccharide that supports healthy intestinal flora as a prebiotic. Hemp oil and black cumin oil enrich the feed with essential fatty acids. Black cumin oil is also said to alleviate the symptoms of allergies.

The recipes for all our dog menus have been developed with love and care by our vet together with food experts. It goes without saying that our food is free from preservatives, flavour enhancers and colourings.

Ingredients

Organic Duck

50 % Organic duck meat (82 % Breast meat, 5 % necks, 5 % hearts, 5 % carcass, 3 % liver). Meat and giblets from ducks raised in kept in natural conditions. Duck meat has a particularly fine yet hearty taste. It is easily digestible.

Organic Pumpkin

15 % Organic pumpkin. Pumpkin is a tasty vitamin bomb, with a high content of beta-carotene, the precursor of the important vitamin A. Pumpkin also contains vitamin C, B vitamins, and the important mineral potassium.

Organic Rice Wholemeat Flakes

8 % Organic Rice wholemeal flakes. Rice has a soothing effect on the gastrointestinal tract and prevents excessive gastric acid production. Rice is an excellent source of carbohydrates for sensitive, irritated, and inflamed stomach. In addition, rice is considered to have a preventive function regarding stomach problems.

Organic Jerusalem Artichocke

5 % Organic Jerusalem artichoke. Jerusalem artichoke belongs to the sunflower family. The tubers taste sweet and contain a lot of inulin, a polysaccharide that supports digestion as a prebiotic.

1.5 % Organic Coconut flakes. Coconut flakes contain a lot of fiber and are rich in minerals such as potassium and calcium. They are naturally sweet and dogs love the taste.

Organic Hemp Oil

0.7 % Organic Hemp oil. Hemp oil is rich in essential fatty acids. It contains omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in an almost optimal ratio.

Organic Nigella Oil

0.3 % Organic nigella oil. Nigella oil is rich in essential oils, valuable vitamins, and it contains polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially the omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid.

Organice Tumeric

0.1 % Organic tumeric. Turmeric is a superfood that may have anti-inflammatory properties due to the curcumin it contains.

Kelp

0.1 % Irish Organic Kelp (brown algae) – Brown algae from the North Atlantic, very rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, has a positive effect on the immune system and is also a valuable source of iodine.

Black Pepper

0.1 % Black pepper - the secondary plant substance piperine contained in it can increase the bioavailability of the curcumin contained in turmeric.
